Privacy Policy
Last updated June 6, 2026
WorldClock.digital is built to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app stores, where it stores it, and the limited analytics we collect.
What WorldClock stores
Your list of clocks (the cities you add and the names you give them), your view choice (strip or cards), your 12/24-hour preference, and your theme are saved locally in your browser using its built-in storage (localStorage). This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, it is not tied to an account, and we never see it.
Because it lives in your browser, this data persists across visits until you clear it. Clearing your browser's site data for WorldClock.digital, or using a private/incognito window, removes it. WorldClock has no server-side database and no user accounts.
How times are computed
All clocks are computed in your browser using its built-in internationalization and time-zone support. We detect your local time zone only to show your own clock and to label how far other cities are from you; this detection happens on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage such as how many people visit and which pages load. Umami is cookieless and does not collect personally identifying information or build advertising profiles. We use these aggregate counts only to improve the app.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not require you to sign in. WorldClock sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Third-party hosting
The app is served over the web by our hosting provider, which may process standard technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.
Children
WorldClock.digital is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Continued use of WorldClock.digital after a change means you accept the revised policy.
